Bulgarian hacker InstaKilla broke into several forums about sex services, stealing the personal data of more than 333 thousand users. The hacker himself confirmed this information to ZDNet.

Two resources were attacked - the Italian EscortForumIt.xxx and the Dutch Hookers.nl. In these countries, prostitution is legalized. The stolen data the thief put up for sale on one of the hacker forums. The database contains user logins and passwords, as well as their email addresses.

To gain access to personal information, a hacker used a vulnerability in the vBulletin forum engine. At the end of September it was already corrected, but the offender found a new gap in the already corrected version.

ZDNet notes that InstaKilla sells not only the data of EscortForumIt.xxx and Hookers.nl users, but also more than 10 other forums running on vBulletin.

Earlier, the same hacker compromised the official Comodo forums and uploaded data stolen from the National Tax Administration of Bulgaria to the network.

El hacker búlgaro InstaKilla irrumpió en varios foros sobre servicios sexuales, robando los datos personales de más de 333 mil usuarios. El propio hacker confirmó esta información a ZDNet.

Se atacaron dos recursos: el Italian EscortForumIt.xxx y el Dutch Hookers.nl. En estos países, la prostitución está legalizada. Los datos robados que el ladrón puso a la venta en uno de los foros de hackers. La base de datos contiene nombres de usuario y contraseñas, así como sus direcciones de correo electrónico.

Para obtener acceso a la información personal, un hacker utilizó una vulnerabilidad en el motor del foro vBulletin. A finales de septiembre ya estaba corregido, pero el delincuente encontró un nuevo vacío en la versión ya corregida.

ZDNet señala que InstaKilla vende no solo los datos de los usuarios de EscortForumIt.xxx y Hookers.nl, sino también más de otros 10 foros que se ejecutan en vBulletin.

Anteriormente, el mismo hacker comprometió los foros oficiales de Comodo y subió a la red los datos robados de la Administración Tributaria Nacional de Bulgaria.
